Anti-Spam & Anti-Abuse Policy

1. Purpose

VumaCloud operates a strict zero-tolerance policy on spam and abuse across all our services, including VumaMail, VumaAPI, and VumaHost.

2. What Constitutes Spam

  • Sending unsolicited bulk email (UBE) or unsolicited commercial email (UCE)
  • Sending email to purchased, scraped, or harvested email lists
  • Sending email without a clear and functional unsubscribe mechanism
  • Using forged or misleading email headers or sender information
  • Sending WhatsApp or RCS messages to contacts who have not opted in

3. What Constitutes Abuse

  • Using VumaCloud services to distribute malware, phishing content, or fraudulent schemes
  • Attempting to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other customers' accounts
  • Using hosting services to host illegal content under Kenyan law
  • Using API services to flood or overload third-party systems
  • Reselling services without authorization

4. Enforcement

Violations may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account without prior notice. We may also report violations to relevant law enforcement authorities. We cooperate with abuse reports received at [email protected].

5. Reporting Abuse

To report spam or abuse originating from VumaCloud services, email [email protected] with as much detail as possible, including message headers and timestamps.
